Everyone Hides Who They Are...At Least Some Of The Time

BioOkay where to start? Ah at the boring stuff.
Right, currently at University, this tends to occupy a fair amount of my time but nevertheless this is my retreat. My solitude, and hence I update/browse whenever humanly possible.
I love to read fan fiction. Since around 6,7 years ago I got into it through the liking of various television shows and found that I really like it. Fan fiction can extend the plot or sub plots of shows and I find in particular the subtexty or humourous things that I notice have been picked up on and explored by others which is brilliant and enjoyable to read obviously!
I am fairly new to writing fiction. I have written just under 10 fics so far and intend to write many more. I have received mostly positive and constructive feedback and so have decided to stick to it, if one person out there likes my work then it was worthwhile.
I also vid too, been a vidder longer though have around 30 vids stored here and there. Again people seem to like them so I continue to enjoy it.
Oh, I am arguably a little bit geekish lol. I don't make any attempts to hide it =]
I love all things geeky, sci-fi, gadgety and computer related.
My DVD collection is becoming quite good now, at the 350 ish mark now. As was my VHS collection before that, and now with Blue-Ray on the way it looks like I will forever just be catching up with technology until it progresses further. Damn technological advancements *Shakes fist intently*
I wouldn't mind being Buffy for a day, Xena for a week or Sarah Connor for a month.
I frequently quote from movies,tv shows and even books. This often earns me strange glances but in my little geeky mind I applaud myself.
I'm the type of person that will catch myself whistling a theme tune out loud while in a lecture, and smile from ear to ear at the most subtle of movie etc references that I pick up on.
Okay so this little bio has been sufficiently awkward enough, I think, for me to stop now. Or continue for a little longer. I can't help it. I love to talk...A lot! I tend to ramble...A lot, too! It's in my nature for some bizarre and socially awkward reason. Lucky me!
